Today, there are all types of grooming products. One of the greatest products is a beard trimmer. You will learn the ease of using a beard trimmer in just a few simple steps. Think about a beard style that you like. You will need a few things from around your home before you begin. All of your items will need to be cleaned and dried before using. Are you ready?
Start by collecting these items around you home: a sharp razor and shaving cream. A couple of sheets of newspaper, a garbage can for the trimmed hair, and lastly, a comb and scissors. The shave cream and razor will be used after using your beard trimmer, to give your face that clean look. The comb will be used to comb the beard hairs to keep them straight and orderly, and the scissors will be used to clip stray hairs in the process. Last but not least, the newspaper sheets will be used to catch the clippings, and throw them out in the garbage can.
Deciding on the style you want your beard to look like. You may do searches on the internet, look at magazines geared toward men. Make a trip to the hairstylist shop and ask to see pictures. Once you have decided on a style, and the length of beard you like, you will be ready to start trimming. Take off about 1/4 inch at a time, and go slowly at first. You will have a nice looking beard when you are finished.
You will find several attachment tools included with your beard trimmer. You will want to place the correct tool on your trimmer before you begin. You may begin with either the right or the left sideburn. Place the trimmer at an angle against your skin, moving straight down to the end of the sideburns. Look at what you've just trimmed, then move on using the same steps for the other sideburn. Check both sideburns, making sure that they are even and as short as you want them. Now is the time to trim a little extra, only if your beard needs it.
Okay here we go, let's trim the main part of your beard. Be careful to choose the correct tool to clip on to the trimmer. Begin at either the right or left side of your beard, holding the trimmer at the bottom of the beard, go in an upward motion. Stop and look at it, then move on until you are finished trimming the beard. You may find that it is easier to comb out the beard, and holding the beard hairs while you use the trimmer. Try it, and get a feel for it. If it feels natural the continue to use the comb.
You have completed trimming your beard and burns. This is the time to shave your neck clean. Begin at the bottom of the neck, moving your razor up to your face. Finish shaving your neck in this fashion. Go ahead and shave your face area, check what you have shaved. If there are any stray hairs or stubble, now is a good time to clean those up. Towel dry your beard and skin, and comb out your beard after it has thoroughly dried.
The last few things you will need to do are, looking at your face and beard. If you see uneven or hairs that are too long need to be trimmed. Check out the style you created for yourself, do you love it? If not, then trim just a little more, just until you like the end result. You will find a care sheet inside the box that your trimmer came in. Read the care sheet, and clean your trimmer. Make sure it is clean and dry when you put it away. The next time you need it, you will know where you put it.
